Sucker Rod Elevators come in several types suited to meet differing needs. The Solid Body, Plate Type, Fiberglass, Polished Rod, and Small Tubing Elevators.
Solid Body
Our Sucker Rod Elevators have been carefully engineered and manufactured to provide maximum rod string protection, ease of handling and operation, and wear resistance. The seat for the rod upset radius is machined to produce a precision fit, thus preventing both tilting of the elevator body and local stressing or kinking of the rods. The one-piece body is made of alloy steel, heat-treated for extra strength and wear resistance; the forged bail is stiffened at the bend with an "I” section to prevent binding under maximum loads. Two pressure-sensitive latches close on the rod automatically, securely locking it in place. The rod can be released quickly and easily, by thumb and finger pressure alone, at either the front or rear of the body. Lightweight regular elevators are designed for depths up to 4000; deep well elevators have the reserve strength to handle the deepest wells being pumped with sucker rods today. Fiberglass Sucker Rod, Polished Rod and Small Tubing Elevators
Our Rod Elevators have an API rating of 25 tons based on API Specification 8C and are rugged enough to take the strain of unseating stuck pumps. Our Small Tubing Elevators make the pulling of ¾” and 1” tubing almost as easy as pulling sucker rods. Special order elevators are also available for various styles of hollow sucker rods.

Plate Type
We developed the Plate Type Sucker Rod Elevator to provide the well servicing industry with a low cost, high quality tool for working sucker rod strings. The elevator uses two field replaceable plates, one on each side, available for each different sucker rod size in the ½” to 1” range. This allows a single tool with four replaceable plates, to replace four conventional type elevators. The elevator may also be assembled using two different plate sizes, one on each side, to handle the required rod sizes.
