Polished Rod

Description
Polished rod is a kind of rod of standard length and diameter with a surface finish designed to facilitate a pressure seal in a stuffing box and to provide a mechanical link between equipment inside and outside the well. Oilfield polished rod is placed at the top of sucker rod string, and every oil well has only one polished rod.

Advantages
1. We have been certified by ISO 9001 management system (in 2006), API (in 2005), ISO 14001 environmental management system (in 2012) and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system (in 2012). This enables us to completely conform to API 11B during manufacturing.

2. Our technical team, consisting of 3 senior engineers, can keep up with industry-leading process of manufacturing oilfield polished rods. They can adopt different heat treatment processes (quenching and tempering, normalizing and tempering, etc.) according to the materials.

3. When purchasing raw materials, we require the supplier to carry out cold drawing operation to make the raw material meet the mechanical properties and quality required by API standard. This can ensure the quality of our API polished rods from the source.

4. Compared with competitors, our polishing machine for extra-long polished rods allows us to manufacture extra-long rods, so as to better satisfy customer requirements.

5. Excellent quality and after-sales service. Inspection during the manufacturing process and final inspection assure 100% quality of oilfield polished rods. In addition, we offer 365-day warranty, and we have offices and agents in a number of countries and regions, ensuring our premium after-sales services.

Classification
Polished rod can be classified as conventional polished rod and spray metal polished rod.

Note
When choosing oilfield polished rods, customers must have a clear understanding of the working environment of oil wells and the length of sucker rod string, so as to determine the required length and grade of polished rods. For example, for wells in highly corrosive environments, we need to use stainless steel polished rods or spray metal polished rods.
